Learn How to Read Arabic Sentences

Lesson 10

10th sentence

'atamannaa laka riHlatan sa3iida

You can also download the sound to your computer by right-clicking
and selecting "Save As/Save Target As" here.

Means: I wish you a pleasant journey

'atamannaa = I wish, laka = for you, riHla = journey, sa3iida = happy

1-The last letter of the first word is an 'alif maqSuura. Don't confuse it with yaa', which looks the same, but has two dots under it.

2-The taa' marbuuTa of the last word is simply pronounced a, since it comes at the end of the sentence. If this word had not been the last in the sentence, it would have been pronounced sa3iidatan.
